Dear Governor Crist;
Please accept this letter as a formal request for your intercession to correct the miscarriage of justice I suffer in the name of the people of Florida.

Twenty five years ago today I was falsely arrested and charged with murder, when two Clearwater Florida police detectives contrived evidence to make it appear I was guilty. They then concealed the evidence of their misconduct to ensure I would be convicted and sentenced to death.

Since then, I have sat on death row in relative obscurity. While the state of Florida has provided me with what amounts to a façade of legal representation to give the appearance of justice being served.

The sad reality of the miscarriage of justice I have endured these twenty five years is so blatantly obvious when viewed from the following perspective. Had the two detectives not contrived evidence to make me appear guilty, and concealed the fact of their misconduct. There is no evidence to support my being charged with any crime and especially not murder.

The veracity of my allegations can easily be verified by presenting the evidence concealed by the two detectives, to the two prosecuting attorneys, and three defence attorneys involved in my case on the trial level. As each of these attorneys would have to admit the concealed evidence irreparably prejudiced me from receiving a fair and impartial trial.

Sir, now that you are aware of the grievous miscarriage of justice I have endured these past twenty five years. I pray you will accept my appeal and call for an immediate inquiry to bring an end to the façade of legal representation that wantonly fails to command my exoneration.
